Jet Trio with Sigrid Aftret, Tom Boizot and Loup Godfroy (2026-02-03)

Sigrid Aftret: tenor saxophone, flute, synth/sampler Tom Boizot: acoustic bass Loup Godfroy: drums and Volca Drum Jet Trio explores the classic saxophone trio format. Its pure form, where the influence of major figures in jazz and improvised music is clearly present, is seamlessly mixed with synthesizers and drum machines. The fluctuating interaction and the constant tension and release between the musicians evoke a series of oases, shaping the trio’s sound in the moment.

Yifan Shao: "Anticipation of embracing the sea after running every downhill" (2026-03-10)

Pulsar is a yearly event, focusing on contemporary music, held by Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium. This i an excerpt from the Pulsar event with Yifan Shao performing "Anticipation of embracing the sea after running every downhill" using only vocal effects.

Maria Faust's Jazz Catastrophe (2026 03 03)

Maria Faust: compositions & alto saxophone Lars Bech Pilgard: guitar Anders Vestergaard: drums Saxophonist and composer Maria Faust is renowned and respected worldwide for her award-winning ensembles Sacrum Facere, Machina, and Jazz Catastrophe. Although her unique musical language as a composer and singular improvising style are easily identified, She is difficult to place in the kanon of contemporary jazz and composition. This is partly due to the broad spectrum of her influences and also because her music goes beyond stylistic definitions and into the realm of the deeply personal. Maria Faust is one of the most celebrated and established Estonian musicians, recipient of numerous awards and prizes from Estonia and Denmark (where she resides), but also a celebrated artist all over Europe and slowly but surely catching the attention of American audiences. Maria Faust ́s Jazz Catastrophe was originally founded in Copenhagen in 2012 as a modern big band, The present album documents its third mutation. Concentrated and reduced down to its essence like a thick syrup, the new music is performed by a trio where Maria Faust ́s alto saxophone is flanked by long-time associates Lars Pilgaard on guitar and Anders Vestergaard on drums.

Pulsar at Primi Every year, the Royal Danish Academy of Music holds Pulsar to present student compositions. Here you can see an excerpt from "Booklero - Six Tutorials" by Ben Livneh and Jens Rønsholdt. The piece lasted 50 minutes and was extremely entertaining.
